Concord, MA - April 5, 2005 - Gantry Group LLC, the premier business technology research and advisory services firm, and Business Intelligence Review, the single source of information for business decision makers engaged in business intelligence, today announced the formation of a strategic research partnership.
In January 2005, Business Intelligence Review, teamed with the Gantry Group to complete a landmark study of C-level and other executive business managers on the topics of business intelligence current and planned use, ROI, spend patterns, and many other areas. The results of this research were used to shape and direct the design and editorial of Business Intelligence Review, launching this month. Additionally, this research provided a critical contextual platform for the upcoming Business Intelligence Review Forum taking place April 17-19th at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa, in Phoenix, AZ.
Under the completed partnership agreement, Gantry Group will provide research content for the Business Intelligence Review Web site, at www.gantrygroup.com/research/bir.cfm. Together, Business Intelligence Review and Gantry Group will have this research available commercially in a variety of forms to accommodate the wide-ranging needs of executives of BI vendors and users.
"The partnership provides for several research-based products, including a comprehensive report of the entire study and interpretation of results," said Dawna Paton, Managing Partner at Gantry Group. "The full report will be available across all industries and also as industry-specific vertical analyses of the data results in the context of individual markets to leverage the value of the information." The key vertical markets include Financial Services/Banking, Healthcare, and Insurance.
In addition, Business Intelligence Review and Gantry Group plan to offer customers the ability to customize their own report along data cuts that are most useful to them. Each research report will analyze the data specifically in the context of a customer's stated business objectives. A Web seminar session will also be available to brief executives who lack the time to read the entire report, on the key findings and their implications to the market.
"Gantry Group has been conducting and managing the Annual DM Review surveys for many years, and as a result, they have been researching the Business Intelligence space from a technology perspective for IT management. The combination of domain expertise and the synergies of the business objectives of our respective companies make the partnership ideal," said Brian Cronin, Publisher of Business Intelligence Review.
Both Gantry Group and Business Intelligence Review are committed to providing objective, high value, and timely market research results and insightful analysis to the Business Intelligence marketplace. By offering a variety of "portals" into the data results and analysis, the companies intend to give buyers the option of extracting highly focused data and actionable data interpretation that will maximize its strategic use to them.
